YMSB渦凹曝氣機（曝氣頭）是通過散氣葉輪，將“微氣泡”直接注入未經處理的污水中，在混凝劑和絮凝劑的共同作用下，懸浮物發生物理絮凝和化學絮凝，從而形成大的懸浮物絮團，在氣泡群的浮升作用下“絮團”浮上液面形成浮渣，利用刮渣機從水中分離；不需要清理噴嘴，不會發生阻塞現象。本設備整體性好，安裝方便，節省運行費用和占地面。單只曝氣面高大50-80m3。該機結構緊湊，占地面積小，動力只有1.1-2102kw，而所生產氣泡密集又微小，是最理想的微孔曝氣設備。潛水電機驅動葉輪轉動，排開污水，*負壓吸入空氣，吸入的空氣與水混合，在離水力作用下向四周排出，達到傳氧的目的。該機備由電機、聯軸器、進氣管軸、曝氣機體、散氣葉輪等構成。
為了去除工業和城市污水中的油脂、膠狀物以及懸浮物而設計的。它是THAF系列渦凹氣浮機的配套單元，針對不同的廢水，油脂去除率80%-95%以上，大部分懸浮物被去除，并且設備在加入合適的化學藥劑和混合劑后，可使COD及BOD在此預處理階段去除30%-60%以上，設備運行費用低，工作效率高，操作維修簡單，是對傳統的氣浮是一次重大的技術革命。
